Two Africans and one Indian slave killed a farm family of seven whites in Newton, Long Island, N.Y. on 28 February 1708. The perpetrators were hanged, a black woman was burned and some historians claim that this was the first recorded slave revolt in North-American history.  There is no marker or much recognition of this incident, and many say the first undisputed slave revolt took place in New York, 1712.
